My 8 year old son just started autocrossing in a Margay cadet kart last year and we are now looking at getting some track time in as well. He is currently running a KT100, but I am looking at getting a Briggs World Formula engine, because I have someone locally in town (Omaha) who can work on them. I was wondering if the club has a class for an 8 year old running a Briggs engine? Just noticed the Yamaha and HPV classes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
We did not have any Briggs running in Liberty last year. However we do run a Yamaha Sportsman Class for the 8-12 year olds. Which consists of the kt100 with a Walbro wb55 carb and a rlv ssx-v 4 hole can. I believe you can still use your cadet chassis with a weight penalty. Will you be running the BP Series as well this year?
